Jessica Barry
Ms. Barry is a 1997 graduate of The Modern College of Design, holds a BA in management from Antioch University Midwest, and is an award-winning educator, administrator, and creative director. Jessica has served as The Modern's president since 2007. In 2013, she purchased the college's assets and is the sole owner.
In 2018, Jessica was named Educator of the Year by the American Advertising Federation-Dayton and Educator to Watch by GDUSA Magazine. Additionally, the Dayton Business Journal recognized The Modern College of Design as the Woman-Owned Business of the Year and Business of the Year.
Jessica, her husband Doug, her two sons, and two Shih Tzus reside in Miamisburg, Ohio. Jessica is committed to her family and strives to provide an outstanding experience for students, an innovative work environment for faculty and staff, and exceptional entry-level talent for the design industry.
